EXTREMELY RARE Mary Nohl!!!
Large Ceramic sculptural head lamp. Lamp is head of a person with 4 figures climbing in and out of the mouth - or are they being eaten? This lamp would probably NOT be good in a child's room, but is a very RARE collector's piece. As you may know, Mary's entire estate was willed to The Kohler Foundation upon her death. This opportunity and collection comes through a personal friend of Mary's.
Ceramic base is 7.5" tall, and with electrical fixture is 10" tall.
Comes with 7' long cord, but no shade.
Rare opportunity to own a nice functional Mary Nohl ceramic sculpture - in good condition, although it does include minor imperfections in the original glazing process. Note that the foot of one of the figures(kids) is chipped off). It really does not hurt the wonderful opportunity to display this rare item!
This lamp is a classic Mary Nohl - and is signed- inscribed with Nohl on the bottom of base.
