After meeting with Karen Johnson Boyd, a fellow Racine native and member of the famous local wax company family known for her interest in the visual arts, Myers undertook a folio of aquatint etchings depicting Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, the first of which featured the Johnson Wax Building. The subject of this print depicts another familiar Wright building, Taliesin, the architectâs own Wisconsin home near Spring Green. Myers produced this edition of 50 prints for the 1981 Wisconsin Governorâs Award in Support of the Arts.
