Born out of the public works projects of the great depression, this timestacked impressionistic interpretation of a bridge (in Waunakee, Wisconsin) over Sixmile Creek has a deeper meaning. Notice the boulders embedded in the bridge concrete. Iâm guessing these were collected from area farm fields as a cost cutting measure to acquire cheap building material. Who knows how many million years it took to create these boulders? And who knows how many years this creek has run through Wisconsin collecting a zillion raindrops as it meanders to the Gulf of Mexico. Time⦠itâs all about time.
