Janet Roberts graduated from Indiana University in 1966 with a degree in Fine Arts, and a minor in Art History. Janet lived in the Chicago suburbs for 15 years, exhibiting in many shows and galleries in the area. She later lived for a brief time in London, where she was juried into the Royal Academy of Art’s 200th Summer Exhibition. Janet has exhibited widely in juried shows throughout the U.S., winning numerous awards. Her paintings are in many private and corporate collections, including the Northwestern Mutual buildings, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company, Waukesha Public Library, and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin in Waukesha.
Janet is a member of Wisconsin Visual Artists, acting in the past as Program Chair, and co-chairing the Wisconsin Biennial three consecutive times. She also has served as juror for several local and regional art exhibits.
