This Large painting on canvas started by Zingale (ca.1942) before he went off to serve the country, and finished upon his return (ca.1944). Exceptional, commanding, painting has been professionally cleaned and restored. Original frame, signed on back. Zingale did a whole series of smaller paintings and prints of this "Refugee" subject.
