Bohrod spent time in the South Pacific during World War II as a war artist and in Europe on assignments from "Life" magazine and from the U.S. Engineers to record the events of World War II.
Label on back of illustration board has original Historical Division - U.S. War Department label.
Painting is signed lower left corner.
Overall excellent condition, but painting has a small partial tear in upper right corner (see pic). Really does not affect display ability. Archival double mat, glass, and new frame.
