Both father and son painted in an identical style and probably collaborated on their paintings.
Both artists signed their paintings Charles F. Tredupp and which are typically landscapes done in Dutch manner.
Because both father and son used the same signature, it is usually impossible to tell whether canvases painted before 1908 (death year of Charles Sr.) were the work of the father of the son.
Both artists reportedly worked in Amsterdam, Roterdam, and Antwerp as well as Berlin.
For years the father and son shared a studio in an octogonal house a 2443 North Gordon Place.
