Jack Long

Artist Statement:

Jack Long’s work is best described as Liquid Art Photography. Through custom constructed fountains, sets and timing controls, Jack takes a concept for a spatial liquid event to it’s intended final form as a beautiful work of visual art.

Jack’s work has earned regional, national and international acclaim through competitions and exhibitions. The work has been featured and shown in prominent photographic and arts organizations worldwide.

These fluid images, while created with the aid of modern photographic methods are not digital compositions. What is shown is what the camera captured within a single flash exposure. The combination of careful planning, set design and capture makes this work unique within fine art photography and the genre of liquids photography.
