A snapshot of Samuel Gansheroff's life was captured by the 1940 U.S. Census.
"Samuel Gansheroff was born about 1910 in England. In 1940, he was 30 years old and lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife, Marion, son Neal, and daughter Sonyia".

Samuel Gansheroff, has a large painting "Pictorial Representation of Homer's Odyssey and World" on display in the large stairwell between the 2nd and 3rd floors at the Raynor Memorial Libraries on the Marquette Campus.

Mr. Gansheroff participated as a W.P.A. artist, in the Wisconsin Artists Calendar, and he was a painting instructor at The Milwaukee Technical College for many years.
