BORN: July 1, 1871 in Middleton, WI

Wilhelmina (Lammert) was born on July 1, 1871 to Christian and Sophie Lammert. She attended High school in Middleton, married Oscar Engel on June 24, 1896, and had two daughters - Martha Sophie and Doris.

Records indicate she taught school prior to getting married, and taught china painting and watercolors. 

Member of Missionary Society, Social Art Club, and she "favored" woman's suffrage.
