(1883, East Liverpool, OH – 1961)
Louis Brunt studied landscape painting under Frank and Gertrude Fryett at at Beaver College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He also studied at Carnegie School of Art in New York, the Chicago Art Institute, and under William Merritt Chase in New York.
He was a founding member of the Seven Art Society in Milwaukee, WI.
Brunt was known for his realistic and impressionistic landscapes and portraits. He exhibited in Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Akron, OH during the 1930s and 40s.
