Our painting has a Milwaukee Art Institute Label on the back, although I am unable to find him on my class lists.

Painting was entered in the 31st Annual Exhibition of Wisconsin Art in 1944.

A Red Ribbon is attached to the back indicating the award of Second Premium Oil Painting - Amateur and Student - Wisconsin State Fair Milwaukee - also in 1944.
